Ongoing Activities

Domestic Partnership Registry
The Domestic Partnership Registry was developed four years ago in response to the Michigan Court of Appeals ruling barring public employers from extending same-sex domestic partnership benefits.  Affirmations is using the registry to galvanize the LGBT community and send a message to those in power.  Our families are important! Sign up and become one of hundreds.  Work or volunteer for an LGBT organization? Partner with us and help raise awareness.

Voter Registration
Voting is a fundamental right in this country.  Register and exercise your right to vote! If you haven’t registered or have recently moved, stop by Affirmations to fill out a voter registration form and we will pay postage and mail it for you.  Stop by today - your vote matters.  Or click here for more info. on our voter information page, where you can sign up for an absentee ballot.
