Who They Are: The mission of Stand with Trans is to provide the tools needed by transgender youth so they will be empowered, supported and validated as they transition to their authentic life.

Transcend the Binary
Who They Are: Transcend the Binary empowers by providing resources to support holistic health.

Fair Michigan
Who They Are: Dedicated to advocacy, education and outreach regarding LGBTQ and men’s and women’s civil rights in the state of Michigan. They also provide legal services in some situations.

Transgender Michigan

Offers a helpline, as well as providing advocacy, support and education while serving to create coalitions to unify and empower transgender and gender non-conformist communities.

American Civil Liberties Union of Michigan (ACLU)

Who They Are: The ACLU works to defend and preserve the Constitution’s promise of liberty for everyone in our country.

The Ruth Ellis Center

Who They Are: Ruth Ellis Center provides short-term and long-term residential safe space and support services for runaway, homeless and at-risk LGBTQ youth.

First Step

Who They Are: First step provides comprehensive services for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault.

Equality Michigan

Who They Are: Equality Michigan educates and advocates to change Michigan laws and to address issues disproportionately impacting the LGBTQ community. They also provide support services to victims.
